Cod Recipes
Ingredients:
1/3 cup All-purpose flour
2 large eggs
4 teaspoons Water
1 cup Fine dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 pound Cod fish filets, skin removes, cut 3 1/2 x 1 inch (9 x 2.5 cm)
2 tablespoons Hard margarine OR butter
Directions:
Pour flour into small bowl. Beat eggs and water in separate small bowl. Stir bread crumbs, salt, pepper and paprika in separate small bowl. Dip each fish piece into fluid to coat, then dip into egg mixtures, then into bread crumb mixture. Set on large plate. Melt margarine in non-stick frying pan. Add fish sticks. Brown both sides until medium to medium-dark and fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
